WAGs are running a free trip to Charmouth Fosseling for the children of the Pendennis area. The trip will be running on Thursday 3rd June leaving at 930am and returning at 530/6pm. It is open to any child living in the area and a parent/adult to accompany. All children will be free and one adult to accompany will also ...be paid for. Just bring your wellies and a packed lunch. Windmill Action Group (WAG's) we would like to invite you to an event to be held on Friday 16th April at the Windmill Hill Fields or if wet at the Windmill Centre in Pendennis Road Torquay from 2-5pm.
This event is to ask the young people of this area what they would like to see for the proposed new BMX/ Skate Park planned for the Torquay area.
We are aiming to raise 150K for this project, no mean feat, but we are inspired by our young people who have expressed their wish for such a park, which we feel will enhance the area, give our young people a place to go ensuring a safer environment for them, whilst showing that we are listening and engaging with them in what they would like in their area.
We are working in conjunction with the Community Hele's Angels committee, Torbay Council and other agencies in the Hele Area.
On the day there will be food and drinks, music and The Bus and The Box will be there too.
